MEYER NEPTUN Engineering, based in Rostock, is a start-up and the Meyer Group’s new competence center for green solutions on the blue oceans. We develop special purpose ships, research innovative forms of propulsion and create sustainable solutions.

The idea of participating in the design of a ship excites you. Whether piping, cable paths or ventilation ducts, you will find the optimal place on board, create technical drawings based on the 3D model and coordinate with the stakeholders involved. In your area of expertise, you will focus on the following focal points:

  • Development of arrangement concepts for all systems in technical areas and in machine rooms
  • Spatial planning of complex and networked systems as part of a new construction
  • Creation of the pre-coordination in the 3D model based on the basic design incl. piping, cable paths and ventilation ducts
  • Creation of room furnishings in technical and machine rooms
  • Creation and supervision of the detail design
  • Professional support of technical draftsmen and external design offices
  • Professional support of the production process

You master the 3D coordination of mechanical engineering systems technically sound and confident.You communicate proactively, act solution-oriented and also meet these requirements:

  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering or state-certified technician
  • Several years of professional experience in design
  • CATIA/CAD skills
  • Business fluent English and German
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Independent work, as well as flexibility and resilience
