MEYER NEPTUN Engineering, based in Rostock, is a start-up and the Meyer Group’s new competence center for green solutions on the blue oceans. We develop special purpose ships, research innovative forms of propulsion and create sustainable solutions.
With an initial 50 engineers, we want to start a new maritime movement as an innovation driver and global market leader. You will work in a networked team, with each other, but not always side by side.

  • You are responsible for your team and support your employees in their personal development. You create the framework conditions for your employees so that they can fulfill their tasks in the best possible way and agree clear goals with them.
  • You question existing structures and methods and implement technical innovations with your team.
  • You communicate the defined processes to your team and ensure process sustainability.
  • You accompany and develop suppliers in their work.

For this position you bring the following with you:

  • Ideally, you have a university degree.
  • You have already gained several years of professional experience.
  • Ideally, you already have some experience in managing and developing employees.
  • For you, the team comes first and you convince with your communicative manner.
  • You are determined and have ideas for the further development of the shipyard.
  • Negotiating and holding meetings in English is no problem for you.
  • In difficult situations, you maintain an overview and take a solution-oriented approach.
